Milford Holiday Parade

On Saturday November 27,2010, I was in the Milford Holiday Parade with  the newly crowned Mrs. Michigan Galaxy 2011, Sharolynn Metternich and Ms. Michigan Galaxy 2011, Dixie Gannon. The parade was packed with a huge audience.  It also was televised.

Novi Equestrian Expo

My daughter and I attended the Equestrian Expo in Novi on November 13, 2010.  While she was busy visiting all the animals, I worked the Equine Sports booth.  This is the place she takes horse riding lessons for ride therapy, my platform.

Michigan Galaxy Pageant

On November  6th, 2010 I crowned the next Ms. Michigan Galaxy 2011.  The pageant was held at John Glenn High School in Bay City. Congratulations to all the new queens!!!

Crown Me Camp

On October 9th, Debra DeFoe, the Michigan Galaxy State Director, put on a Crown me camp.  Debra, Jessica Willis (Miss Michigan Galaxy 2009) and myself presented to prospective pageant delegates a workshop on what to expect at a pageant, especially the upcoming Galaxy pagaent in November. We covered topics such as: photogenic, interview, bios, wardrobe, walking and posing.

Mayhem Festival 2010

On August 6th I went to the Mayhem Festival at DTE Energy Theater. This was an all-day event of back-to-back bands. The feature bands on the main stage were: Five Finger Death Punch, Lamb of God, Rob Zombie and Korn. I was able to meet Rob Zombie and his band.  Also I met two members of Korn amongst meeting many of the fans that day!
